It is almost the weekend, which means it is almost football time! Last week was probably the best College Football slate of the year so far, but this week also has a couple of big matchups. There are four Top 25 matchups this weekend, and a quick preview of these games can be found on our latest YouTube Video!
But, let's get into my favorite bets of the weekend!
Duke +5.5 vs. Notre Dame
This was on of the games Ethan and I previewed in our YouTube video, but I think it deserves another mention! Duke is now a football school I guess? They have all the momentum, a great QB and fanbase, and also are hosting College GameDay this week! Duke will come out guns a-blazing!
Notre Dame suffered a heartbreaking loss to Ohio State last weekend, and it seems that ND may not be as good as people suggest. This game could be a chance for Duke to get on the map, and I don't think they will waste this opportunity!
Stanford +27 vs. Oregon
I know this is gross, but Ethan pointed out a great piece of information. Oregon is in a major look ahead spot. They face Washington next week, followed by Washington State, and then Utah. A gauntlet of a schedule. It is safe to say they are not very worried about Stanford, and why should they be? Stanford is the worst teams in the PAC12, and should get steamrolled by Oregon. Which is why I love Stanford to cover this game.
Alabama -14.5 vs. Mississippi State
Tough couple seasons for Alabama, and they are already off to a rough start this year. A 10-point loss to Texas at home is hard to overcome, but we have to remember this is still Alabama. They are just a 14.5 point favorite in this game, and that is way too low even though they have looked like ass the last couple weeks.
Mississippi State is very bad this year. Worse than recent years. Don't let their 7 point loss at South Carolina or their OT win against Arizona fool you. This team is bad. Bama may win by 35+.

Michigan/Nebraska o39.5
Biggest trap of the weekend hands down. It doesn't help that I bet Michigan spread and the over every week and haven't won. Now they throw this line at me??? Of course I'm going to fall for it.
But here's my reasoning:
Michigan is bound to explode on of these games, why not be against a pitiful Nebraska squad. Sure Nebraska's run defense is great, but they are no chance against the best rushing team in the country (according to myself). And where the Huskers excel in rush defense, they lack in the secondary. JJ McCarthy might throw for 400 yards and Michigan is going to put up 40 points themselves!
