Fantasy Stock Market: Week 10

The waiver wire is a blast every week but nothing feels the same as pulling off a trade! Finding the right compensation can be tough and coming to an agreement is even harder. While we would all love to trade for Justin Jefferson, these articles are based around players that with the right compensation, are attainable. League trade deadlines are fast approaching week 11 before games kickoff. At this point in the season, we know who the impact players are and the players who are fool's gold. With trades ending after week 11 it's time to either make that playoff push or in dynasty start selling weapons to contenders like America supplying Ukraine so you can rebuild. I've enjoyed this series this season and this being the last stock article means we are going out on a high note. Let's dive in.

BUY

Marshawn Lloyd, RB, Green Bay Packers

Not a target in redraft but a must buy in dynasty. Josh Jacobs has struggled with inefficiency and even with an improved offensive line situation in Green Bay hasn't been able to consistently produce at a high level. Sure he has a spike here or there but Emmanuel Wilson of all people cuts into his workload more than any owner would like. Enter Marshawn Lloyd, a promising rookie 3rd round pick with his biggest knock being ball security. While a terrible look, it's ultimately a coachable issue that could be as simple as changing carrying style to prevent punch outs. Lloyd's value is at an all time low and many owners are tired of holding him on IR. If you know you're firmly out of playoffs in dynasty and looking at a rebuild, I'd prioritize Lloyd. Jacobs is under contract potentially for 4 years but with structuring he's essentially on a 1 year deal with a second year team option. They are not tied to him for the whole 4 years and have a variety of ways to bail to save cap space. This combined with his wear and tear allows possible opportunities for Lloyd as early as after the bye. If Wilson can be a thorn in his side Lloyd has better pedigree and stats to really end up a leader in the backfield and save the team money simultaneously.

Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals

The Call of Duty curse strikes again. Murray put up a putrid 1.76 in half ppr but the playoff schedule is juicy. The Cardinals were able to run the ball down the throats of the Bears and as a result Murray didn't have to do anything. After the week 11 bye Murray will have to drive the boat though. A Seahawks matchup with a presumably healthy Metcalf could be a shootout. Week 13 Minnesota matchup will be a shootout or at least an aerial attack as the Vikings stifle the run game. Seattle again then New England, Carolina, and finally the Rams. All games where I anticipate more throwing and less cruise control run. Expect McBride to get his usual dose of targets and Harrison Jr to rebound. It's wheels up here on out for Murray and the Cardinals when you will need them most.

A.J. Brown, WR, Philadelphia Eagles

After an injury scare Brown is back in action against the Cowboys. Hurts will have Smith, Goedert, and Brown all back at the same time for the first time in weeks. Brown should feast with better matchups and the defense having to cover all 3 men instead of doubling or scheming out Brown. Other than the beginning of the season when his hammy was an issue, this is the cheapest you will get a receiver who has top 10 potential. The owner in your league may be firmly out of contention so see if they want to play spoiler and get yourself an all star. Other than the banged up Ravens and Steelers, his remaining strength of schedule is pretty damn friendly to wide receivers.

SELL

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, New England Patriots

Stevenson has benefitted from touchdowns in his last two games and now is the perfect time to sell. With Maye now at quarterback the passing attack is a priority and the remaining schedule doesn't bode well for establishing the run for the Patriots either. Other than Chicago and the Colts, New England will be playing from behind against the Rams, Miami, Arizona, Buffalo, and the Chargers. Plus his week 14 bye is terrible if you start playoffs in week 14 in your leagues. His touchdowns are not sustainable and the team is still in rebuild. Especially in dynasty I'd move off quick before the incoming RB class or a free agent signing tank his value sooner rather than later.

Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans

He won't lose you weeks but he also isn't a week winner either. Pollard is a great floor play but Spears should come back from injury soon and I anticipate Spears to eat into the workload of Pollard. People forget how good Spears has been historically and his pedigree along with draft capital. While Pollard is great in his own right, He has been banged up this season and desperately needs a break. The Titans are looking at a lost season and have little left to play for. If they wish to stay competitive they will find themselves behind often and playing catch up leading to more passing. Levis could be back at QB and now is a mystery box to see if he continues as normal before injury or if he switches his style up. Either way especially in dynasty I'd sell Pollard now and based off contention status or not that would determine my haul. If I'm contending I want to get a bigger producer to boom and if I'm not in contention but rebuilding I'm looking at Lloyd or Jaylen Wright or another young piece that isn't hitting strides yet to prepare for the future.

Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams

His 10 points are only the beginning of his woes. Williams now has to compete with a healthy Kupp and Nacua on the field together for the first time in weeks. Even with Nacua getting ejected early, Williams couldn't turn his high volume into anything longer than a gain of 9 yards. Other than New England and the Saints, The remaining Rams schedule should be high octane passing attack and attempting to stay in reach of teams such as Arizona, Miami, San Francisco, Buffalo, and the Eagles. The Rams likely don't find themselves in comfortable leads against any of those teams and the run will likely be an afterthought quickly. I'd rather sell for Derrick Henry who has a way better schedule coming up and potential to boom more than Williams now.
