Take advantage of the percentage a player is owned! The higher a player's exposure, the better you have to be at choosing other positions. Try to mix in different exposures to create your own unique lineup. Previous millionaire winners have a total ownership percentage of 100.56% each week, and the range between 75%-125% is recommended to increase your chances of winning.
QB: Caleb Williams, $5,700 (8.81% Ownership)
The Bengals’ defense has been so bad lately that they may have singlehandedly saved Justin Fields’ job in New York — and now Caleb Williams gets his turn at a “get-right” game. His ownership is projected to be low after a disappointing showing against the Ravens, which would’ve been considered a favorable matchup just a few weeks ago. With this game carrying the second highest over/under on the slate, I’m putting my faith in Williams and Ben Johnson to bounce back in a big way and deliver one of the best points-per-dollar performances among quarterbacks this week.
RB: Alvin Kamara, $5,500 (4.17% Ownership)
I love Alvin Kamara this week because this is exactly the kind of spot that makes casual players fade him. The Rams have an average run defense, and the Saints are projected to get blown out while starting a rookie quarterback making his first career start. In that situation, the coaching staff will do everything possible to take pressure off the rookie — which means plenty of handoffs and easy dump-offs to Kamara. He’s going to be Shough’s safety valve all game, and at his current price and ownership, Kamara sets up as one of the smartest contrarian plays on the slate.
WR: Brian Thomas Jr, $6,200 (5.16% Ownership)
BTJ is my WR play of the week, and this feels like a make-or-break spot for him. He faces a Raiders defense that was just blown out by the Chiefs before their bye, and now Jacksonville comes in off a bye of their own — giving them extra time to reset and figure out how to get BTJ going. He still holds a strong 22% target share, so the volume is there; he just needs to start converting those opportunities into production. If he can’t get it done this week, it might be time to hit the panic button, but in DFS, I’m willing to give him one more shot — especially at reduced ownership in a matchup tailor-made for a bounce-back performance.
TE: Travis Kelce, $4,600 (5.51% Ownership)
Travis Kelce is “washed,” right? At least that’s what the public seems to think — which is exactly why he’s such a sharp DFS play this week. Despite the narrative, Kelce still ranks top six among tight ends in receptions, yards, and targets, and he’s only one touchdown behind names like McBride and Henry. His ownership has dipped because casual players think he’s done, but the production clearly says otherwise. Kelce has dominated Buffalo in the past and should be heavily involved in this massive AFC match up. You’re getting one of fantasy’s most consistent TEs at a discount, so take advantage while everyone else moves on.
