Best NBA Player Props 2/12

The NBA All-Star weekend is this week. That gives us one last props bet before the second half of the season starts, so let's end the first half strong. We have 10 games tonight, which gives us many options later. We are due for the perfect props slip and tonight might be that night to end the first half of the NBA season.

Brandon Miller 20+ Points (-150)

The Charlotte Hornets take on the Indiana Pacers tonight on what should be an up-tempo and high scoring affair. Both teams rank in the bottom 10 in the league in defense. There will be points on the board, which is why I think Brandon Miller can easily reach 20 points tonight.

The Hornets took Miller with the second pick in last year's draft and he has not disappointed. In the month of February thus far, Miller is averaging 25 points per game, while shooting 43% from three. He is continuing to get better in every aspect and has an outside shot on winning Rookie of the Year.

Furthermore, Miller has been successful against the Pacers themselves. In their last meeting, Miller dropped 35 points in a 16-point loss about a week ago. In the three games they have played against one another, Miller is averaging 22 points per game. The matchup screams volumes for Miller, as his chances of getting to 20 points look extremely plausible.

Jamal Murray Over 23.5 Points (-113)

The Jamal Murray meme of only playing great against contending teams has a chance to get stronger tonight. His Denver Nuggets are facing the Milwaukee Bucks, who they beat a few weeks ago. In that game, Murray scored 35 points without even making a three.

The Bucks' defense is putrid even under Doc Rivers. Malik Beasley will most likely be guarding Jamal Murray, who is too small to handle his physicality. Murray is a big point guard who is not afraid to post up smaller players. If the Bucks were to use the newly acquired Patrick Beverly on Murray, he could use the same advantage.

This can be another game where Murray shines and I will want to take part in that action.

James Harden 8+ Assists (-180)

You can make a case that the hottest team in the NBA are the Los Angeles Clippers. They are 16 -4 in their last 20 games and are in the hunt for the number one seed for the Western Conference. The main reason for the success is the addition of James Harden.

Their offense is running smoothly with the ball in his hands. Harden has always been an amazing playmaker, which is showcased in LA. Harden is maintaining another year averaging 8+ assists per game. I think tonight is a big game with them facing another Western Conference contender in the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Harden should play a lot if the game is close and rack up the assists. The line is set at 8.5, but I want to play it safe here and take the exact number. He is averaging 8.5 so far this season, which gives me a high level of optimism for him to reach eight dimes.
