English Premier League Best Bets: Matchweek 10 (Nov. 1, 2025 - Nov. 3, 2025):

ree

Welcome to English Premier League Best Bets, a Bettor in Green Article Series where we break down the latest action in the English Premier League (EPL) and my favorite bets for the upcoming matchweek.

For an overview of what to expect in this Series, check out my 2025/26 EPL Season Preview and Futures article here.

Recap:

It’s still early, but matchweek 9 could end up being a big week for the title race.

Arsenal got a win, while Liverpool and Manchester City each lost, meaning Arsenal are 7 points clear of Liverpool and 6 points clear of Manchester City. Arsenal are 4 points clear of Bournemouth, who sit in 2nd.

Speaking of Bournemouth, they continue their excellent season with a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest, while Sunderland also keep impressing, beating Chelsea 1-2 on the road to claim 4th in the table.

In other news, Manchester United got another win, their 3rd in a row. The Man U fan who is refusing to cut his hair until they win 5 matches in a row may finally get to call his barber!

It was another rough weekend for our bets. We almost hit the under in the Newcastle/Fulham match until a 90th-minute winner from Newcastle. Across the Globe we also had frustrating results, particularly the Bayern match, as they couldn’t take advantage of an early red card to win both halves.

We went 1-2 for Best Bets and 1-4 Across the Globe, only winning Bournemouth and RB Leipzig.

This week, I’m going back to the drawing board and feeling confident in these picks.

Upcoming Matches:

Matchweek 10 brings us 7 matches on Saturday, 2 on Sunday, and one on Monday afternoon.

The matches are all pushed back an hour here in the States, as Europe has already adjusted the clocks back for daylight savings time.

The marquee match of the weekend is a London Derby between Tottenham and Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Let’s get to the bets:

Best Bets:

Pick #1: Arsenal to Win to Nil -115 (Nov. 1, 2025; 11:00 a.m. EST):

For our first Best Bet, I’m backing one of the hottest defenses in Europe to win to nil.

Arsenal are first in the EPL and are undefeated in the Champions League, thanks in large part to their impressive defense.

They’ve only allowed 3 goals in all competitions this season, having won all 3 of their Champions League matches to nil thus far.

They’ve won their last 6 matches in all competitions to nil and have won 11 of their 14 matches in all competitions to nil.

Even with Saliba being questionable to play, Arsenal are strong from front to back, with plenty of firepower to overwhelm Burnley, and a solid keeper in David Raya at the back.

While Burnley don’t have nearly the fixture demands that Arsenal do, they’ve lost 6 of their 11 matches in all competitions this season.

While Arsenal do have a trip to Slavia Prague on deck in the Champions League, they’re going to prioritize a win in the EPL to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Pick #2: Manchester United Moneyline +105 (Nov. 1, 2025; 11:00 a.m. EST):

For our 2nd Best Bet, I’m backing Manchester United to keep up their solid form and get a 4th win in a row.

Ruben Amorim was seemingly in the hot seat to start the season, until Sir Jim Ratcliffe (who oversees football operations at United) stated in an interview that Amorim would be judged over 3 years. Since then, they’ve turned things around, winning all 3 matches they played in October.

Mbuemo is finally hitting his stride in Manchester, scoring 2 goals against Brighton last weekend.

Without European football, and having already crashed out of the Carabao Cup, United can focus solely on the Premier League, until the FA Cup picks up in January.

This weekend, they travel to Nottingham Forest, who have struggled this season and are on their 3rd head coach after firing Ange Postecoglou two weeks ago.

While new coach Sean Dyche is a good defensive manager known for helping clubs be tough to beat in order to stay in the league, it will take a little time for him to fully implement his ways at Forest.

They got a win for his first match in UEFA Conference League, then lost to Bournemouth this weekend. They’ll have another Conference League match this Thursday away to Sturm Graz in Austria.

It’s a tough spot for the struggling Forest and I expect United to take advantage and take one step closer to letting that poor fan finally cut his hair after over a year of failing to win 5 matches in a row.

Pick #3: Nick Woltemade (Newcastle) to Score or Assist -115 (Nov. 2, 2025; 9:00 a.m. EST):

For my final bet, I’m looking at a player prop, taking Newcastle’s Nick Woltemade to score or assist.

Woltemade has seemed to find his stride with Newcastle and has scored 4 goals in his 6 EPL starts, while also getting a goal in the Champions League and most recently a goal against Spurs in the Carabao Cup this past Wednesday.

I wrote earlier in the season about how Woltemade struggled with aerial duels last season at Stuttgart, despite his tall stature. This seems to be something Eddie Howe and Newcastle are actively trying to fix, with 3 of his 6 goals in all competitions coming from headers this season.

And while he doesn’t have any assists to show for it, his hold up and link up play with wingers Gordon and Elanga have been  a key aspect of his game this season.

Additionally, Newcastle are playing at West Ham for this match. West Ham have lost all 4 home matches they’ve played in the EPL this season, conceding 12 of their 20 goals conceded at home.

Speaking of conceding 20 goals, that tally is the worst in the EPL.

And, for what it’s worth, West Ham did not pass the eye test in their home match against Brentford in Matchweek 8. There were protests and boycotts from fans and the display on the field was one of the most uninspiring performances I’ve witnessed in a long time, perhaps ever, for an EPL club.

Across the Globe:

  • Eintracht Frankfurt Moneyline -110 (Germany; Bundesliga)

  • Torino Moneyline -105 (Italy; Serie A)

  • Toulouse Moneyline -135 (France; Ligue 1)

  • FC Nordsjælland Moneyline -120 (Denmark; Superligaen)

  • Lyon Moneyline +120 (France; Ligue 1)

Season Record:

Best Bets: 14-13

Across the Globe: 18-27
