The draft is the foundation to a good fantasy team, but a championship team is active on the waiver wire to capitalize on shifting opportunity shares and emerging talent. Each week, I’ll give you a breakdown of my favorite adds in fantasy football. The order I list the players doesn't matter as I believe the players you select off this list should be based off position of need and other team unique factors. Regardless, these are always hot players of the week worth boosting your team. This week we are at the point in the season when the wire is starting to dry. 8 team leagues still have potential but 10 and 12 team leagues and above are honestly struggling. This list as always will try to help you get an advantage in any way possible while trying to account for these factors.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, WR, Tennessee Titans
Yeah it's that time of the season. His snaps the last two weeks with Rudolph under center have been 92 and 97%. The first 4 weeks he was shooting blanks and now the last 4 he's putting up between 7 to 14 fantasy points. The team is struggling but 10 weeks into the season are you finding much better options on the waiver in 12 team leagues? Likely no. He seems to have a role as the number two on this offense behind Ridley with the departure of Hopkins for what it's worth.
Noah Brown, WR, Washington Commanders
Scary Terry is still the man but it looks like Brown has a role on this Commanders team that has been better than anticipated under Daniels. The last 5 weeks he hasn't dipped below 67% of snaps and has been trusted with clutch situations like securing the Hail Mary against the Bears. The floor is low but the ceiling is decent for what you can get off waivers right now. Last game he led the team in receiving so he's a definite chain mover for the team.
Audric Estime, RB, Denver Broncos
Will his role grow? Maybe, maybe not. It was supposed to last game and he did play his highest percentage of snaps this season. Granted he spent time on IR but guess what the season high touches total for Estime was this game? A whopping 10% good for 3.75 points. This is an absolute desperation dart throw but the other trending RBs on Sleeper are already owned or were drafted in most 12 team leagues by now. Estime was in our 12 teamer as well but dropped. Don't expect much, but if you're desperate for help at running back Estime could maybe, maybe, do something down the stretch.
Honorable Mentions: Cooper Rush, Trey Palmer, Desmond Ridder, Ray-Ray McCloud.
