NFL Week 12 - DFS Values & Plays

NFL Week 10 - DFS Values & Plays

Take advantage of the percentage a player is owned! The higher a player's exposure, the better you have to be at choosing other positions. Try to mix in different exposures to create your own unique lineup. Previous millionaire winners have a total ownership percentage of 100.56% each week, and the range between 75%-125% is recommended to increase your chances of winning.

QB: Kirk Cousins, $4,400 (3.31% Ownership)

With Michael Penix Jr. out for the season, it’s officially Kirko Chains season. Kirk Cousins steps into this week as one of the best salary-saving plays on the slate, coming in dirt cheap after a string of underwhelming games with Atlanta. He’s priced barely $400 above Will Levis—who hasn’t taken a snap all year—which tells you exactly how big of a discount you're getting. Cousins still has a full arsenal of weapons at his disposal, and he draws a familiar matchup against the Saints, a defense this Falcons roster knows extremely well. Buying low on Cousins frees up at least $2,000 in salary to load up on studs elsewhere while still giving you a quarterback with legitimate multi-touchdown upside.

RB: David Montgomery, $5,300 (7.66% Ownership)

David Montgomery is shaping up as one of the best leverage plays on the entire slate. The Lions own the highest team total this week and enter as 10.5-point favorites, exactly the type of game script where Monty historically goes to work. The Giants bring a bottom-three run defense and rank bottom-four in points allowed per game, setting up a premium matchup for early-down and goal-line volume. Despite scoring just one touchdown in his last five games, Montgomery is due for positive regression, especially with Detroit projected to live in the red zone. Meanwhile, Jahmyr Gibbs is pushing nearly 30% ownership, meaning he could sink a huge chunk of the field in large-field tournaments. The value and leverage you're getting with Montgomery is extremely hard to ignore—this is the perfect week to pivot to the lower-owned hammer in the Lions’ backfield.

WR: Jerry Jeudy, $4,100 (3.33% Ownership)

Last time we spotlighted Jeudy, he racked up nearly 17 fantasy points and posted a WR1-level performance — that kind of ceiling is very much back on the table this week. He draws a favorable matchup against the Raiders, a team that just got torched in their Monday night game by Dallas’s aerial assault. The Browns’ defense can flip the field with turnovers and short fields due to the Geno-cide in Lasvegastan, giving Jeudy extra chances in prime spots. With his route-running and speed, Jeudy makes for a sneaky leverage play who can deliver big value.

TE: Juwan Johnson, $4,000 (4.67% Ownership)

Juwan Johnson is my favorite DFS value play at tight end this week. He’s been quietly consistent all season, and ever since Tyler Shough took over three weeks ago, Johnson has taken on an even bigger role—catching two of Shough’s three touchdowns and finishing as a TE1 in every game of the new QB’s tenure. He’s seeing a strong 12% first-read target share, showing that Shough is looking his way early and often. Now he gets a dream matchup against the Falcons, a defense that has been shredded for nearly 300 passing yards per game over their last three outings. With Rashid Shaheed gone and the Saints needing to throw to keep up, Johnson steps in as the clear No. 2 option in the passing game.
