Our Weekend Warriors article series is back! I have ran this article series on and off during my time as a sports content creator and after taking last year off, I am looking to get back into writing on a consistent basis. This article series focuses primarily around college and pro football, but will also tap into other sports such as NASCAR, College Hoops, NHL, and more! I hope you enjoy and I look forward to cashing with you all throughout the year. Let's get into the plays.

MIA -17.5 -105 vs USF
My Saturday best bet for college football week 3 is the Miami Hurricanes -17.5 against the red hot South Florida Bulls. This is a sell high spot and South Florida and I will gladly do so. After starting the season with a dominant Thursday Night win against Boise State, the Bulls came back last week and took care of their in state big brother Florida, winning 18-16 as an 18.5 point dog. After starting 2-0 with 2 ranked wins, South Florida has catapulted themselves into the top 25 and have developed quite a public backing, giving us value on Miami here. Miami opened up week 1 with a massive win of their own against National Championship Runner Up Notre Dame, before disposing of Bethune-Cookman in week 2. While the Hurricanes have Florida and 10th ranked Florida State on deck, the potential look ahead spot here has disappeared as a win over South Florida will be a quality win. I fully expect Miami to to run all over the Bulls of South Florida on Saturday afternoon and we get some nice line value in thanks to the hot start to the season that South Florida has had. Lay the big number with Miami as I expect them to win comfortably. I'll call for 45-14 Hurricanes.
Honorable Mention: FLA +7 -110

CAR +6.5 -110
For the NFL slate on Sunday I am looking to back the Carolina Panthers +6.5 on the road against the Cardinals. Who in their right mind is going to want to back the Panthers after what they saw in week 1? They were blown out in Jacksonville and now have to travel yet again to Arizona to face the Cardinals in week 2. Arizona, on the other hand, coasted to a 1-0 start to the season against the predicted worst team in the NFL New Orleans Saints. NFL week 2, otherwise known as overreaction week, is full of inflated lines based off what we just saw in week 1, and I think that is what we have here. While I am high on this Cardinals team and gave out their win total over in my futures article, I don't like them to be a team who constantly win's by margin, which is what they would have to do here to cover the spread. I don't believe Carolina is as bad as what we saw last week and I am for the most part throwing that performance out after the long weather delay threw a wrench into that game. I think Arizona finds a way to win on Sunday but by touchdown feels like too many points. Give me 6.5 points with the Panthers as I see Arizona winning this game 20-17.
Honorable Mention: SF -3 -110

B. Wallace Top 10 +125
NASCAR heads to Bristol on Saturday night for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race. The 3rd playoff race will be the last playoff race for 4 drivers as we move to the round of 12 after this weekend. One driver who isn't in much jeopardy of being eliminated this weekend is Bubba Wallace. Wallace currently sits 4th in the playoff standings heading into Saturday night and has quietly put together a really nice back half to the season. While Wallace is in no real fear of being eliminated, maintaining his spot in the standings will be his focus this weekend. I expect Wallace to run a really safe and clean race at Bristol in hopes of maintaining, or even improving his playoff positioning. He finished 3rd at the Bristol Night Race last season and has been stringing together plenty of top 10's this year, including both prior playoff races. To find the last time that Bubba finished outside of the top 10 without being involved in a wreck or having a major issue on pit road, you'd have to go all the way back to mid July. If Bubba can stay clean and avoid any wrecks that may come his way on Saturday, I expect another nice result for the 23 car. At the + price, this is well worth a wager.
Honorable Mention: C. Buescher Top 10 +175
