Worst UFC Cards of All Time

ree

The UFC has certainly had it's share of "sneaky bangers" over the years. What are the sneakiest, most bangiest, most bounciest events that looked poor on paper but absolutely turned out to still be a great....... pile of over clapped cheeks? Here on this site you won't get sugar coatings and sold a dream. We are talking about events that absolutely sucked from the UFC. This is obviously a subjective topic but feel free to chime in below on your thoughts about this list and what you think a terrible event looks like. I may add to this list in the future by making this a recurring article where I keep expanding the list by going over more terrible cards. For now, let's look at our tricky three below.

1. UFC FIGHT NIGHT: CHIESA vs. LEE

When talking about fight cards that belong in the toilet you can't leave out the card that had a fighter not make it to a toilet. Chiesa vs. Lee was quite literally a shit show after Justine Kish lost control of her bowels fighting Felice Herrig on this card. It's not like that was the last fight either, as two more bouts took place after this with the smudge of fecal matter still visible in the Octagon. Besides the defecation with no breathing or whatever Papa Roach said, this was another card where the corpse of B.J. Penn was milked for name value and rolled out to try and sell tickets. That coupled with the decision heavy outcome of most fights and the controversy over Chiesa's mother trying to enter the arena without tickets left a heavy scar on the last time the UFC was in Oklahoma City.

Credit to UFC, Endeavor, and WME. Exhibit A your honor. I rest my case.

2. UFC ON ESPN: EYE vs. CALVILLO

Look I understand there was a global pandemic going on June 2020 when this card happened. It still doesn't excuse the fact this card shouldn't have happened. Being desperate for fights resulted in a card that had a whopping NINE fights scrapped. Three egregious weight misses from Eye, Roberson, and Adashev really put the cherry on top of the poop Pop-Tart. Calvillo and Eye were both absolutely not main card fighters let alone event headliners on the early stages of the flagship ESPN deal. Marvin Vettori had to solo this card to even make it somewhat compelling. Overall, a very lackluster card with a lot of fizzled fights, terrible weight misses that forced opponents to still accept the fight to avoid another cancelled bout, and outcomes that aren't very memorable even in the midst of a memorable time in history.

3. UFC 119

To finish up the list for now we reach UFC 119. Consistently at the top of fan rankings for the wrong reasons, UFC 119 is currently the number one worst card as voted on by members of Tapology. From the pacing to the decision heavy nature, this card absolutely sucked. Even the main event between Mir and Cro Cop felt like a tease and gave no closure though it ended in a KO. It also suffered from cancellations and other issues that left it dead in the water. Those that were there live ended up booing almost every fight the entire time and said it was a terrible experience for a live card. At least no one crapped themselves.
